Regional entry is closed. Use this page to register for a Championship section if you qualify by rating (high school students over 1399, middle school students over 999, or elementary school students over 749), or to register for Finals if you qualified in one of the five Regionals (Hammond, Evansville, Indianapolis, Terre Haute, or Warsaw).

The Elementary School Championship section will play 5 rounds. The High School JV section will play 5 rounds. The Middle School JV, the Elementary School JV and Third Grade & Under sections will play 6 rounds. The First Grade & Under section will play 5 rounds.

  6. Sets and boards will be provided. Clocks will be provided only for games going long. Clocks will be added to games 20 minutes before the projected end time, with each player getting 10 minutes with a 5-second delay.
  7. Students who bring legal chess clocks will be allowed to use them.
  8. Notation will be required for all Championship sections and the High School Junior Varsity section.
