Some things you need to know

There are regionals in Goshen, Hammond, Jeffersonville, and Terre Haute (all on February 24). Entry deadline is February 17 for all regionals. All teams from a school have to play in the same regional, but they can choose which regional that is. Although things get complicated for finals, it's very simple for the regionals. You register, you pay, you show up, and you play! Read the flyer for complete details.

For all regionals: Doors open at 8:00 (or earlier), be there by 8:30, players' meeting at 8:45, first round at 9. It doesn't hurt to be a little early. Give yourself time to let your coach know you're there so she can get her roster filled out and turned in. All regionals will provide sets and scoresheets. You might want to bring a pencil or pencils for keeping score, and if you want to use a clock, bring one. Concessions will be available. Don't count on a leisurely lunch hour.

Regional locations

How long will the regionals last? Good question. It varies a lot. Bigger regionals (Hammond) may have to play more rounds, and they can go a little longer. At Goshen, we have had groups done as early as 1:00. I don't think we've ever had anybody go past 5. But count on a full day. I wouldn't make any other appointments until well into the evening.
